Issue 38 commentary

Issue 38 is one of the weirder issues I've written, and one of the few that I wrote entirely on my own. I hope it makes some sort of sense!

Jimmy's brain is a weird place. It's full of rock music and symbolism! For those of you who don't know, the cover is an homage to the music video for Robert Palmer's Simply Irresistible.

BOOKS!

First of all, hello to all of you from SPX who are visiting the site for the first time. Forget those other guys--YOU are all my new best friends!

I recommend doing an archive-dive so you'll know what the heck is going on. But beware! Many of the issues are NSFW, or NFBSK if you're British. It's a comic about college, and you know those college kids--always cursing in the nude. We try to be accurate.

Secondly, there are now Jimmy Jone books! I've been wanting to make these for quite a while. I had them printed by the people over at Ka-Blam, and they look good! Imagine an old TV Guide, but with comics inside.

Head on over to the store and pick up a couple! You'll thank me later.

You've probably seen the Kinder Suprise/Ueberraschung eggs before. Or maybe not; they don't sell them in America (not legally, that is). Anyway, I found out through Kinder's customer support that the name of the mascot is Kinderino.
